To help you bring your vision to life, we are collaborating with the talented @Darlingbbm, who will be providing expert guidance on basic floral design principles, essential flower care, and professional arranging techniques. Bring your personal projects to life in a creative, supportive environment! Whether you want to alter a thrifted find, hem your favorite pair of pants, repair a cherished garment, or start a brand-new sewing project from scratch, our Open Studio Cut & Sew Society is open to all skill levels.
Bring whatever project or fabric you’d like to work on! Our expert instructor will be on hand to provide personalized, step-by-step guidance—helping you with cutting patterns, stitching, fitting, machine troubleshooting, and finishing touches.
What to Expect:
Bring Your Own Project: Patchwork, visible mending, simple upcycling, or a hand-sewing project you've already started.
• Guidance, Not a Class: There's no formal lesson. You work at your own pace, and Alisha moves around the room to help with planning, patch layout, and basic stitching.
• Sewing Machine: One machine is available to share for anyone comfortable using it on their own. Not a machine sewer? No worries. Alisha will happily run any machine stitching your project needs for you. Just know this isn't a sewing machine class, so machine lessons aren't included.
• Cozy & Collaborative: Make, chat, and create alongside fellow makers in a relaxed studio setting.
Good to Know:
This is an open sewing circle, not a sewing machine or technique class. Embroidery, beading, and other specialty techniques are welcome if you already know how. They aren't taught at this session. Pattern drafting, fitting, and full garment construction aren't covered either.

Skill Level: All levels welcome. If you're a beginner, bring something simple to work on by hand, like a patch, a small repair, or scraps to piece together.
What to Bring: Your garment, fabric, or project, plus any thread or notions specific to it. One shared sewing machine and basic tools are provided.
